The Strategic Advisory Committee is designed to be the visionary, action-oriented group to guide and craft the programming and offerings of the West Metro Chamber, ensuring the best opportunities and experiences for our membership. Meet our current Advisory Committee members
Requirements:
Must be a member in good standing (no outstanding invoices)
Must be a WMC member for at least one year
Should be an active participant in WMC programs and events
It is encouraged, thought not required, to have served as an Ambassador. Nominees who have not served as an Ambassador may be considered for a one year initial term.
Committee Seats:
At-large members
1 representative from any Diamond Level Community Impact Partners
1 representative from our Ambassadors Program
1 representative from the Young Professionals Program
1 representative from one of our Leads Groups Network
2-4 representatives from our Industry Roundtables
Officers: Roles include Chair and Vice Chair only as minutes and fiduciary responsibilities are not part of this Committee's structure. Officer elections happen in December or January after new committee members have been confirmed. Term Limits:
Members may serve two consecutive terms (up to 6 years), but then must sit out one year before reapplying, unless an Officer.
Officer roles are 2-year terms. These roles will not generally serve consecutive terms unless there are extenuating circumstances.
