Jeffco Volunteer Fair – Saturday April 6, 2019

Foothills Animal Shelter – 11am – 2pm

Linking People to Passion

Volunteers are the heart of community organizations in Jefferson County. Through their work, volunteers support and mentor children, staff food banks, clean up neighborhoods, foster homeless pets and do countless other things that make the place they live a better place for all.

Being a volunteer means making connections- to the community and with the people who live in it. Volunteers provide vital help to people in need and advance worthwhile causes. And, in return, volunteering brings a sense of purpose and satisfaction to those that give their time to help others.

Finding volunteers can often be a challenge for many organizations. That’s why the Leadership Jefferson County Class of 2019 is hosting a Volunteer Drive during National Volunteer Week. We hope to connect organizations to volunteers who will help them fulfill their mission. And, help potential volunteers find their passion through rewarding and uplifting service.

Join us on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 11 am to 2 pm at Foothills Animal Shelter, 580 McIntyre Street in Golden.

Find your passion. Be a volunteer.
