Leadership Jefferson County

This popular program is designed to identify emerging leaders within Jefferson County and help them develop their leadership potential. Leadership Jefferson County (LJC) provides class members with a broader view of civic leadership through contact with people and institutions that shape Jefferson County. Candidates for the program must be concerned about issues affecting the greater Denver area and be committed to involvement in shaping the future.

The program begins with a two-day orientation & retreat in September and concludes with a Leadership Jefferson County Logo1graduation dinner in June. Monthly one-day forums expose participants to government, economics, health care, education, arts, justice system, business, regional issues, and human services.

“I joined the West Metro Chamber on the advice of another member.  Through participation in networking events, leads groups and becoming an Ambassador, I have built trusted relationships with other supportive West Metro Chamber members.  Within 9 months, I was no longer draining my savings and was breaking even.  When I look at my client base, nearly 90% of that has come from the West Metro Chamber.  Today my business continues to be a success and the West Metro Chamber is a vital part of that success.”
