The 72nd Annual Chairman’s Gala

The West Metro Chamber is proud to honor businesses, individuals and organizations from  Jefferson County, at the Chairman’s Gala. Cocktails start at 6:00 pm, dinner and program at 7:00 pm, with music and dancing starting at 9:00 pm.  **Nomination forms are due by November 30, 2018.

Background information is vital in our ability to differentiate nominees as we go through the selection process. Nominations with detailed information have a greater chance of being selected by our committee.

  • An organization that exemplifies leadership, collaboration and gives back to the Jefferson County community. This organization is committed to making our community a better place to live and work. Please give us an overview of accomplishments, why their business or non-profit is successful, how long they have been in business or how they’ve grown. Also, please note how do they contribute to business, mentoring and the community. (Must be a current member of The West Chamber)

West Metro Chamber Small Business of the Year (5 or less employees)
A business that has shown the true meaning of being involved and engaged in improving the business community in Jefferson County.

West Metro Chamber Medium Business of the Year (6-49 employees)
A business that continuously shows support for its employees, its clients and the community in Jefferson County. 

West Metro Chamber Large Business of the Year (Over 50 employees)
An organization that exemplifies leadership, collaboration and gives back to the Jefferson County community. This organization is committed to making our community a better place to live and work.

Woman-Owned Business of the Year
A business that exemplifies leadership, collaboration and gives back to the Jefferson County community.  This woman-owned business contributes to the economic vitality of Jefferson County.

Nonprofit of the Year
An organization that exemplifies making our community a better place to live and work by advocating for positive change within the Jefferson County community.

Minority-Owned Business of the Year 
An organization that is owned by a non-white individual that truly understands what it takes to run a business and strives to make our community a better place to live in Jefferson County.

The Steve Burkholder Diamond Legacy Award
This individual has achieved a high level of respect within the business and public communities. Nominees are known as the “shining stars” of the current business world and must have had a positive economic impact within the Jefferson County community over the last year. Demonstrating an extraordinary ability to influence people and events, nominees utilize their strong leadership skills to advance community and business success through public service and philanthropy. (West Metro Chamber membership is not a part of the criteria for this award.)
