Small Business of the Year (5 employees or less)

A business that has illustrated the true meaning of being a champion in improving the business community in Jefferson County. Please give us an overview of accomplishments, why their business is successful, how long they have been in business or how they’ve grown. Also, please note how do they contribute to business, mentoring and the community. (Must be a current member of The West Metro Chamber)

Medium Business of the Year (6-49 employees)

A business that continuously engages in the community, provides excellent service and has made a lasting impact in Jefferson County. Please give us an overview of accomplishments, why their business is successful, how long they have been in business or how they’ve grown. Also, please note how do they contribute to business, mentoring and the community. (Must be a current member of The West Metro Chamber)

Large Business of the Year (more than 50 employees)

An organization that exemplifies leadership, collaboration and acts as a catalyst for change in the Jefferson County community. This organization is committed to making our community a better place to live and work. Please give us an overview of accomplishments, why their business is successful, how long they have been in business or how they’ve grown. Also, please note how do they contribute to business, mentoring and the community. (Must be a current member of The West Metro Chamber)

Minority-Owned Business of the Year

A business owned by a minority that truly exemplifies involvement, caring and pride in Jefferson County. Please give us an overview of accomplishments, why their business is successful, how long they have been in business or how they’ve grown. Also, please note how do they contribute to business, mentoring and the community. (Must be a current member of The West Metro Chamber)

Woman-Owned Business of the Year

A business that exemplifies leadership, collaboration and gives back to the Jefferson County community. This woman-owned business contributes to the economic vitality of Jefferson County. Please give us an overview of accomplishments, why their business and its founder are successful, how long they have been in business or how they’ve grown. Also, please note how do they contribute to business, mentoring and the community. (Must be a current member of The West Metro Chamber)

Steve Burkholder Diamond Legacy Award

This individual has achieved a high level of respect within the business and public communities. Nominees are known as the “shining stars” of the current business world and must have had a positive economic impact within the Jefferson County community over the last year. Demonstrating an extraordinary ability to influence people and events, nominees utilize their strong leadership skills to advance community and business success through public service and philanthropy. (West Metro Chamber membership is not a part of the criteria for this award.)
